Spyridon is a post-doctoral researcher of Laval University in Canada. He received his B.A. in Economics from Panteion University (Athens, Greece), he then received a M.A. from University of Guelph (Canada) and his Ph.D. from UniversitÃ degli Studi di Milano. His main research interests are Economic Growth, Corruption, Mathematical Economics, Environmental Economics, Financial Economics, Applied Non-Parametric Methods, as well as Labor Economics, Health Economics, Demographic Economics, Monetary Economics.

Lorenzo Carbonari

Assistant Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Faculty of Economics. he previously taught as adjunct professor of International Macro at LUMSA and was researcher at the CEIS. Following his laurea in Economics at LUISS, he gained a MSc in Development Economics and a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His research interests focus on health (pharmaceutial market), economic development (growth, transition) and more recently on the analysis of the Italian economy.

Boubacar Diallo

Boubacar Diallo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Qatar University in Doha. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics (Summa cum Laude) in 2015 from the University of Quebec in Montreal (Canada), and a M.Sc. in Engineering in Mathematics, Statistics and Finance from University Paris 9-Dauphine (France 2009). Prior to joining Qatar University, he held several positions as Lecturer in Canada, Assistant Professor in Saudi Arabia, Associate Professor in China and Research Fellow at the World Bank Group in U.S. His research interests focus on growth theory, microeconomics of banking and financial markets, economic development and econometrics of panel data. He published in international journals such as: The Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Macroeconomics, Economics Letters, Emerging Markets Review, Economic Modelling among others.

Levent Eraydin

Simone Marsiglio

Simone is currently lecturer (assistant professor) in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the University of Wollongong (New South Wales, Australia). Before joining the University of Wollongong he worked in Australia, England, Italy and Spain (at James Cook University, the University of East Anglia, the University of the Basque Country, and the University of Eastern Piedmont, respectively). Simone got a MPhil from the Catholic University of Louvain and a PhD from the University of Milan. For his doctoral work, he was awarded with the SIE (Italian Economic Association) Prize 2011 for the best Italian PhD theses. Simone’s main research interests are related to economic growth, environment and population dynamics.

Antonio Palestrini

Antonio Palestrini is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Universita’ Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona (Italy) where he obtained his Phd in Economics. His main research interest are: Business Cycles, Industrial dynamics, Financial Fragility and Mathematical Finance. He published in international journals like Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Ecological Economics, Journal of Economics Dynamics and Control, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Economics Letters. He also serves as referee for various international journals. He participated in many international workshops and conferences and collaborated to Italian and European research projects.

Fabio Privileggi

Fabio Privileggi is Associate Professor of Quantitative Methods in Economics at Universita’ degli Studi di Torino. Previously he was Professor at Universita’ del Piemonte Orientale. He received his PhD in Mathematics applied to Economic Problems in 1995 at Universita’ di Trieste (Italy). His main research interests include mathematical economics, optimization, discrete-time dynamical systems. He has been visiting scholar at Cornell University.

Alessandro Sbuelz

Alessandro Sbuelz graduated from the London Business School with a doctorate in Finance. He also holds degrees from Bocconi University, Milan (B.Sc. Economics – Laurea DES; M.Sc. Economics – MEc). He is currently an associate professor of Quantitative Finance at the Catholic University of Milan. Alessandro’s research interests are in asset pricing, asset allocation, and credit risk. His work includes papers published in several academic journals (among them, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Management Science, and Quantitative Finance) and presented at the meetings of the American and European Finance Associations. He acts as referee for a number of academic publication outlets and has been teaching undergraduate, MiF, and PhD courses on corporate securities valuation, derivatives, and quantitative methods for finance. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the ABI (Associazione Bancaria Italiana) Country Risk Forum and of the FBF (FÃ©️dÃ©️ration Bancaire FranÃ§aise) Chaire Risque de CrÃ©️dit.

Giovanni Trovato

Thanasis Stengos

Thanasis Stengos joined the Department of Economics at the University of Guelph in 1984, where he now holds a University Research Chair. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Ph.D. from Queen’s University. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Empirical Economics, Economics Letters and he is co-editor of the Review of Economic Analysis. His research has been published in journals including the Review of Economic Studies, European Economic Review, International Economic Review, Economic Journal, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, The Review of Economic and Statistics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics and Journal of Economic Growth.

Danilo Liuzzi

Danilo is a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, on the project “Interactions in complex economic systems: innovation, contagion and crises”. He is Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods, University of Milan. He has received his Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico of Milan. His Master Degree in Economics and Political Science and his Ph.D in Economics from University of Milan. His main interest include Environmental and Ecological Economics, Economic Geography, Growth Theory, Computational Economics and Complexity Economics.
